                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF 39TH STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4,
                   1993, FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M. FOR A
                   "CHARITY BAZAAR" SPONSORED BY BETHLEHEM
                   EVANGELISTIC MISSION, UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of 39th Street between 12th Avenue and 13th
       Avenue on Saturday, September 4, 1993, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 
p.m.
       for the presentation of a "Charity Bazaar" for a terminally ill
       cancer patient under the sponsorship of Bethlehem Evangelistic
       Mission.  The sponsors are responsible for the installation of 
all
       traffic control devices (such as traffic cones, flasher
       barricades, and warning signs) in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency and residents' vehicles.
